Good to know

The annexe is a bright, open-plan space with high beamed ceilings, featuring a fireplace, air conditioning, king-sized bed, dining table, TV, and a fully equipped kitchenette. At the rear, there's a small bathroom with a shower. Outside, enjoy a decked patio with a private sauna, perfect after a chilly swim at the beach. Also a corner sofa that catches the sun all day, ideal for an evening glass of wine. WIFI: Full Fibre Gigafast Broadband (The fastest) The Neighbourhood: Falmouth is a vibrant town full of soul, featuring a brilliant selection of independent shops, cafes, restaurants, and convenience stores. Our favourite eateries include Beach House, Bodega, MINE, IndiDog, Verdant Seafood Bar, and Sabzi. Falmouth is perfect for beach days, with three beaches right next to us. Gyllyngvase Beach, one of the most popular, offers a sheltered bay ideal for swimming and the award-winning Gylly Beach Café, a perfect spot to enjoy a refreshing drink while gazing out to sea. Just up the road, Castle Beach sits below the Tudor landmark Pendennis Castle. Nearby Swanpool Beach invites you to feast on fresh mussels after a dip in the water. There's much to explore in the local area too. A ferry from the nearby harbour takes you to the stunning St Mawes, known for its superb dining and historic castle. Watch for dolphins, which often accompany the boats! The coastline between Flushing and Restronguet Passage is a local secret, featuring the stunning Carrick Roads and Restronguet Creek. One of the best walks is from Mylor Bridge along the coast path to the Pandora Inn, a historic thatched pub with a big jetty filled with picnic tables, where you can enjoy a beer while watching people paddle and crab in the water. The Local Area: The property is located in Falmouth, with everything just a stone's throw away, so you won't need a car to explore this wonderful town. For adventures beyond Falmouth, we recommend bringing a car. Free parking is available on the street, and plenty of spaces (which is hard to find in Falmouth!). Falmouth boasts excellent transport links to the rest of Cornwall and the UK. Falmouth Town station is a short walk away, offering regular trains to and from Truro. From Truro, you can catch a fast train to London Paddington, stopping at Exeter, Bristol, and Reading along the way.

Loved our stay , great location, comfy bed, great shower, and we enjoyed using the sauna too Only thing that could be improved would be some hooks bear the shower for hanging up a towel, otherwise we loved it

The location was perfect. The accommodation was excellent, clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The hosts ensured that the annexe was well heated and that we didn’t have any further requirements. There was nothing that we didn’t like.

We had a great stay, the Airbnb was clean and spacious, close to the beach and the sauna was an added bonus! Ali was really responsive whenever we had a question, we’ll definitely be back!

We visited The Little Pines for my partners birthday. The space was lovely, beautifully decorated and very cosy. The beach was only a short walk away and there were some nice spots for breakfast. We headed into the town which was perfect for us and our two dogs as almost everywhere was super dog friendly! Ali and Emily were fantastic hosts, their communication was great and they left lots of lovely recommendations of places to eat and things to do. Despite the drizzly February weather we still had a wonderful time. We would definitely visit again in the summer. The sauna was a great touch and we would recommend booking it as a relaxing add on. The space is perfect if you have dogs, we’ve visited a lot of Airbnb’s with our dogs over the years but this one had the most secure garden and we felt comfortable letting our hounds roam around the garden freely. Thank you for a lovely trip!

Really convenient spot within walking distance of town, the campus, or the beach. Parking is on the street but was always available true to the hosts word. Sauna is a really cool addition, and having aircon was fabulous. In the summer I imagine the little private outdoor space is great, unfortunately a bit too wet to get any use on our stay due to the time of year. The hosts have thought of the little things, the kitchen is properly equipped, and there’s cupboard essentials like oil, salt and pepper, some tea and coffee, and they even popped a small milk in the fridge for an emergency cuppa if you haven’t hit a shop yet…. as an extra addition there was a cute little pack of shortbread as a treat, some logs for a night using the burner, and I spotted some treats on the shelf as well! (dog & human lol!) Communication was prompt, helpful & friendly, if needed. Honestly didn’t bother me but my partner who is super sensitive to noise whilst sleeping found the road a little loud at points, nothing his earplugs didn’t fix though so no complaints just something to be aware of.

A lovely clean beautiful space that was extremely private with no sense of being overlooked from the house (which is rare, as I've found many annexes arent as private as they seem in the photos). Hosts were friendly and proactive and the outside space and private sauna were amazing and really added value. We splashed out on this as a treat, so it was really great to have a basic kitchenette as we could cook a proper breakfast in the morning to keep costs down. Enough wood for one night was provided (nice and dry) but we brought our own logs too so we could stoke it up both nights. Very walkable to beach (5mins) and town (15 mins). A lot of care has gone into making and keeping this place nice - would definitely recommend. Only thing we would change is having an option of softer/dimable lighting as the 2 lights on the wall by the bed are still v bright - but that's just our preference rather than any fault of theirs.
